Hummingbirds and Diner Mugs at our Vermont B&B

Early fall view of a yellow house with a brick walkway and a blue door all beneath a bright blue sky.

Our front door, welcoming folks in 2023.

What a beautiful Vermont autumn, after a lush, colorful (wet and buggy) summer!

The B&B will be on hiatus over the next few months as we head into winter; not taking reservations till April 2024. We had a successful season, offering two downstairs rooms to travelers from all over the US. And we had several family reunions fill the house with laughter and meaning.

A few of the recollections that make me happy: the gasps of delight when presenting our colorful  polenta breakfast, a couple relaxing on the matching chaises by the zinnia garden, two friends watching hummingbirds while drinking coffee from diner mugs, and amazement at our story of how the solar panel and heat pump technology (and the E-mower and E-chain saw) enabled us to cut our use of fossil fuels in half. Gratitude for kind and generous people who found us (and picked up the phone to call!) this year.  Hope to see you in 2024.
